Walking and cycling trails start near the
Amadis guest house and run through Blean Forest. The village has two
pubs: The Royal Oak and The Hare & Hounds and a local
convenience store. It is
also where children’s classics Bagpuss and the Clangers were filmed!
The University of Kent campus is less than a mile away. Canterbury Castle,
Canterbury Cathedral and the Roman Museum are all within 15
minutes’ drive of the bed and breakfast. There is a also a
frequent bus service between the University, Canterbury and
Whitstable. Please feel free to browse
